Consultation Packages
All Consultation Packages include: House Calls ($325, plus a travel charge for out of area)
Some types of behavioral problems are tied integrally to their
surroundings. While all types of behavioral issues can be seen in
office, sometimes there is an additional benefit for pets and their
people in having the consultation take place at their home. This
works especially well for:
Office Visit ($275)All types of behavioral problems can be seen as an office visit. My office is located at the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado. Appointments are available most evenings to allow more family members to attend. Distance Consultations ($275)For clients who live at a significant distance from CSU this service is available by phone. We set up a time for a phone conference for 1-1.5 hours instead of a face-to-face visit and all other aspects of the consultation package are the same. Follow-up Consultations ($175)Most behavioral issues are successfully resolved within days, weeks or months of the initial consultation. I encourage you to call as often as you need help during that follow-up period. However, some complex or refractory cases need re-examination. Sometimes things change, and the same animal displays different behavioral problems than those I first saw your pet to treat. In this case, a follow-up appointment is appropriate. Approximately one hour in length, it allows us to re-examine the situation and gives me a new opportunity to see what behaviors your pet is performing now and how you are interacting with your pet during the previously prescribed conditioning exercises. Together, we develop a treatment plan for the new behavioral issue. The consultation, written behavioral plan, consultation with your veterinarian and three more months of guidance from me are included. Brief Consultations ($100)As either an office visit or a phone call, brief consultations are appropriate for most preventative problem situations: You can expect that the appointment will take 45 minutes and you will have some written information to read and follow at the conclusion of the appointment. |
